We are actively hiring for a Finance AI Enablement Lead!

Your Role:

The Finance AI Enablement Lead drives the identification, evaluation, and adoption of artificial intelligence tools across the Finance organization. This role translates Finance business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions and ensures responsible, scalable adoption through structured experimentation, implementation, training, and support.

The role partners closely with Finance departments (Accounting, FP&A, Investments, Real Estate, Risk & Tax) along with IT, Data and Security teams to accelerate value realization from AI while maintaining strong governance and user confidence. Success is defined by measurable improvements in efficiency, insight generation, and decision-making across Finance teams.

Your Work:
  • Identifies high-impact AI opportunity areas across Finance, including forecasting, reporting, analysis, close processes, controls, and decision support.

  • Conducts and synthesizes business process analysis, user research, and technology assessments to inform AI use cases and prioritization.

  • Develops hypotheses, pilot plans, and experimentation approaches to validate AI-enabled Finance solutions.

  • Evaluates and recommends AI tools aligned with Finance needs, enterprise architecture, and risk standards.

  • Leads pilot implementations and supports transition from experimentation to scaled adoption.

  • Partners with IT, Data, Security, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure responsible, compliant AI usage.

  • Designs and delivers training, documentation, and best-practice guidance for Finance users.

  • Acts as the primary AI champion and subject-matter resource for Finance teams.

  • Provides ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for Finance AI tools.

  • Tracks adoption, usage, and outcomes to assess effectiveness and inform next-step recommendations.

  • Prepares executive-ready insights, updates, and recommendations for Finance leadership.

  • Contributes to portfolio-level prioritization discussions related to Finance transformation and AI initiatives.

Required Experience, Education and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in Finance, Finance transformation, AI technology enablement, innovation, or related roles.

  • Experience working with AI tools, automation, analytics platforms, or generative AI solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting business-facing technology solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and workflows (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, Investments, Tax, Finance Operations).

  • Ability to identify AI-enabled opportunities and translate business needs into actionable solutions.

  • Experience using and deploying AI for structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and learning-based iteration.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess impact, value, and risk.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Comfort working in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.

  • Strong facilitation and change-management skills to drive adoption.

  • Curiosity and continuous learning mindset related to emerging AI technologies.

What would make us excited about you?

  • Advanced coursework or certifications in analytics, AI, automation, finance transformation, or change management.

  • Consulting experience with nationally recognized organization (Big 4 or similar).

  • Experience partnering with IT, data, security, or risk teams in a regulated environment.

  • Experience leading pilots, training programs, or adoption initiatives.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders with analysis, recommendations, and decision-making.

  • Champions our cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.).

  • Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings. Expect to spend 25% time in Walnut Creek, CA with additional travel to external conferences.

  • Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

Please note we are hiring for this role remote anywhere in the United States with the following exceptions: Hawaii and Alaska.
