Join a statewide initiative modernizing healthcare technology across rural Maine. We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial administration of approximately $30 million in federal funding supporting EMR modernization projects across more than 70 healthcare organizations.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, reimbursement processing, financial reporting, audit preparation, and fiscal compliance while partnering closely with program leadership to ensure sound stewardship of federal funds.

Position Summary: The Finance & Accounting Manager provides financial leadership for the EMR Modernization Grant Program and is responsible for fiscal oversight, budgeting, accounting, reimbursement processing, financial reporting, audit coordination, and compliance with federal grant requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage project finances and accounting 

  • Develop and monitor program budgets 

  • Review reimbursement requests 

  • Verify allowable costs 

  • Prepare federal financial reports 

  • Coordinate audits 

  • Oversee internal controls 

  • Monitor cash flow 

  • Support financial forecasting 

  • Supervise project accounting activities 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 

  • CPA preferred 

  • 7+ years of accounting experience 

  • Federal grant experience 

  • Knowledge of 2 CFR 200

Anticipated Salary: $112,000 - $126,000
