Position Purpose 

Sleep Number is seeking a highly effective Region Manager, Field Services to drive our mission of becoming the world’s most beloved brand by delivering an exceptional sleep experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring a customer-first approach to service, delivery, and installation. The Region Manager leads the strategic and operational execution of field service initiatives in collaboration with retail, logistics, manufacturing, and field teams. This position oversees all aspects of home delivery operations within the region, with a focus on achieving key performance goals in safety, financial outcomes, service levels, and quality standards—ensuring consistent execution aligned with Sleep Number’s delivery excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of financial, customer, and employee outcomes across the region
  • Monitor and analyze business trends/results to develop effective strategies to meet performance goals. 
  • Own and analyze regional P&L and KPIs
  • Champion Sleep Number Culture
  • Maintain two-way communication to ensure team engagement and follow through regarding company goals and objectives
  • Lead planning initiatives to optimize service and cost, including dock location changes
  • Foster relationships with internal Retail and Logistics leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Leads talent management efforts by providing coaching, performance management and building a talent pipeline.
  • Execute and influence Demand Planning, Forecasting, and Reconciliation (labor, overtime, temp, rental)
  • Oversee labor management within the region thought routing efficiency, productivity, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure staffing levels align with business needs and financial goals
  • Respond to service issues and escalations to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Audits markets/employees for adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and TRUST model
  • Additional responsibilities to develop high potential leadership candidates
  • Perform other job duties as related to business needs.

Position Requirements 

  • 5+ years of services, technical and or multi-unit/remote management experience.
  • Proven ability to hire, lead and inspire a highly technical and remote workforce across large geographies.
  • Strong understanding of a service environment and infrastructure that promotes service excellence, operational efficiencies, employee engagement, superior customer service, and P&L management.
  • Ability to maintain high morale and engagement with employees Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of retail and services standard operating processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

  • Seeking applicants in the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wyoming.
  • Must be able to travel 60% of the time
Salary Pay Range: $79,300.00 -$141,067.00
