Job Description
The Field Services Manager will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Responsible for managing a small team to include hiring, corrective action, development, training, and compliance. Represents Government Customer Naval Air Warfare Command - Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) as subject matter expert (SME) on Field Technical Unit (FTU) Operations. Responsible for ensuring deployment readiness of all Electronic Technicians assigned to the Field Technical Unit to include all pre-deployment documentation through coordination with Human Resource Business Partner, Deployment Coordinator and Program Leads. Oversees the utilization and input of all SCMS Maintenance data. Provides manpower coordination and support for all Continental United States and Outside Continental United States projected support. Provides local manpower support to project leads for the FTU's area of responsibility.
The selected candidate will be the senior lead at the facility, they will be required to coordinate and meet with visitors and VIPs that visit the facility, answering questions, providing tours, and ensuring hospitality.
This position is located in San Diego, CA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to San Diego or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least 14 years of related experience
Prior U.S. military experience
U.S. Military C4I training/experience
Tactical radio communications training/experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Extensive supervisor/manager training and experience

U.S. Special Operations Force (SOF) experience/training
Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) experience
Radio Integration System (RIS) experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
