We're scaling our field team fast, and you'll be the operational backbone of our global events program. You'll quarterback event planning and execution: coordinating with venues and vendors, managing logistics, communications, and all the details that separate good events from great ones.
You'll spend time on the ground at major conferences, trade shows, and field events, actively pulling people into our booth and representing Daylight. We are looking for someone who brings fresh ideas on how to elevate our presence in the field, whether that's how we set up, engage attendees, or show up as a brand. As we scale, you'll take on more ownership of individual events.
If you're scrappy, organized, and energized by moving fast without losing the details, we'd love to talk!
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in end to end planning and executing events globally, coordinating event materials across programs.
- Manage event platform logistics, deliverables, deadlines, and exhibitor service kits for conferences and trade shows.
- Work the booth at major events: handle setup, ensure everything is polished and ready, actively engage attendees, scan badges, and set up follow-up conversations.
- Support content creation for events including landing pages, social cards, invites, and signage while staying in sync with the brand and design team to keep all materials current and on-brand.
- Create event briefs with program details that set everyone up to execute smoothly. Communicate regularly with the onsite team before every event to prep them on booth setup, materials inventory, logistics, goals, and key messaging.
- Manage event inventory by tracking what exists, flagging what needs reordering, retiring outdated materials, and ensuring nothing gets scrambled at the last minute. Work with shipping vendors to manage timelines, carrier relationships, and delivery confirmation so materials arrive on time and in full.
- Assist in event follow-up: lead list scrubbing and upload, documentation of event feedback, follow-up communications as needed, tracking event performance metrics.
- Track and reconcile field marketing expenses, maintain accurate records for budget reporting, and keep event documentation organized and up-to-date: calendars, staffing plans, event briefs, shipments, vendor contacts, and attendee lists.
- Triage internal requests for branded materials and event support, setting clear expectations on timelines and following through.
- 2+ years in field marketing, events, or something similar where you owned the operational & execution side of events.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time for key field programs and industry events
- Proven ability to work multiple projects and stakeholders
- Worked cross-functionally with multiple teams: sales, partner, vendors, brand, and leadership
- Obsessed with details, documentation and strong communication
- Thrive working fully remote across time zones in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry
- Familiar with major industry events: Black Hat, RSA, Gartner conferences, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, Notion, Popl
