Overview
Northbeam is excited to add a Field Marketing Manager to our team. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver unique, impactful events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, strong technical acumen, and deep familiarity with the eCommerce, analytics, or marketing attribution space. Experience in business development or sales is a plus. This role is fully remote!
ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, webinars, curated events, and partner co-marketing initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, staffing, and on-site management.
- Ensure all events align with Northbeam's marketing objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
Demand Generation Through Events
- Design and implement lead generation campaigns tied to events, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to drive pre-event outreach and post-event follow-ups for maximum impact.
- Develop strategies for targeting key accounts through Account-Based Marketing (ABM) at events. We prioritize building authentic, collaborative relationships with our prospects.
- Work with Northbeam’s partner ecosystem to co-host events that expand reach and drive to mutual goals.
Budget Management & ROI Analysis
- Manage event budgets meticulously to maximize impact while staying within financial constraints.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event, including pipeline metrics and revenue outcomes.
Marketing Collateral & Communications
- Oversee the creation of event-related marketing materials ie: email campaigns, social media, dope swag, etc.
- Ensure deadlines are met and maintain clear communication and expectations with stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in field marketing or event management roles within B2B technology or eCommerce industries. Software-as-a-service startup experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Hubspot proficiency, familiarity with ecommerce KPIs, attribution models, and analytics-driven decision-making. We are all about data!
- Event Expertise: Demonstrated success in planning and executing events that generate leads and enhance brand presence.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling event narratives and strong collaboration. We love extroverts!
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ABM strategies targeting technical audiences through events.
- Background in BDR or sales development to understand account-level strategies.
- Passion for creating memorable customer experiences through innovative event formats.
