About Field Marketing Associate - US (East Coast):

The Field Marketing Associate will be responsible for driving field-based customer programming and marketing of the DEXTER® Robotic Surgery System to support the US sales organization. The primary goal of the Field Marketing Associate is to lead the execution of regional marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and adoption and utilization of DEXTER in key territories. This includes developing and executing educational, product, and promotional programs for patient, HCP, and other stakeholders.

This role is responsible for aligning marketing initiatives with sales goals, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, education, and product teams, and serving as the bridge between corporate marketing and US customer and market needs.

The ideal candidate enjoyes a dynamic atmosphere, possesses strong communication skills with the ability to take a hands-on approach to field execution, and has a track record of cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and education teams.

Key responsibilities:

Field Activation & Event Execution

  • Plan, organize, and execute regional events such as physician education programs, lunch-and-learns, trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer appreciation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to tailor marketing activities to specific territory needs and target accounts.
  • Establish and maintain active and collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and DEXTER users to support peer-to-peer and other customer programs.

Lead Generation & Customer Engagement

  • Support lead capture, tracking, and conversion strategies through field marketing campaigns and events.
  • Identify new opportunities for engagement with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and other key decision-makers.

Brand & Content Deployment

  • Ensure consistent and compliant use of corporate messaging and materials in the field.
  • Update, distribute and monitor the use of marketing collateral, digital assets, and other educational and promotional materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with US sales managers and clinical sales specialists, US marketing, global marketing, and education teams to align local activities with broader corporate, brand, and product strategies.
  • Support sales managers and clinical sales specialists on messaging (value proposition, features and benefits) and customer targeting for available programs.
  • Gather and share customer insights based on programs and events, input from sales partners, and interaction with account and surgeon stakeholders to inform marketing content, sales tools, and product positioning.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Measure and report on program and event ROI, lead performance, and regional engagement metrics.
  • Provide feedback on competitive activity, customer objections, and unmet clinical needs.

Required abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or life sciences.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare, including 2 in direct medical device sales and 1 in customer event planning or marketing. Medical device experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop strong sales partnerships to drive product adoption and procedure utilization.
  • Proven ability to execute events and programs that influence customer behavior and achieve sales objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and to pivot focus to meet evolving sales and customer needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complicated information for dissemination to various audiences.
  • Ability to travel within the US 50-70% of the time.
  • Familiarity with salesforce.com and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and medical device promotional standards (e.g., AdvaMed Code).
