The Field Communications Manager will develop and execute communication strategies for PagerDuty's Go-to-Market and Commercial organizations, including senior leadership. This role shapes and delivers key messages across pre-sales, post-sales, partner, and customer success audiences — building consistent, compelling communications that keep teams engaged and informed.

We're looking for a creative storyteller who can distill complex messages into clear, concise content across multiple channels, work closely with GTM leadership and cross-functional partners, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

**This role will be required to come into our San Francisco offices 2 times per week**

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with the Chief Revenue Officer and his organization’s goals.
  • Build and expand communication platforms for the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) .
  • Craft key messages and narratives for a global audience, tailored by region and audience.
  • Create, execute, and measure content across email, Slack, video, and other channels.
  • Own Town Hall agendas, content, and slides, spotlighting customer stories to inspire GTM teams.
  • Manage customer communications on critical matters by teaming with CRO and Chief Customer Officer. 
  • Produce content for announcements, presentations, newsletters, blog posts, and FAQs.
  • Build stakeholder relationships and incorporate feedback into communication strategy.
  • Find creative ways to engage hundreds of GTM personnel — from customer wins to org news.
  • Moderate large-scale meetings: content, Slack monitoring, FAQs, and KPI reporting to leadership.
  • Partner with other Communications leaders to align GTM messaging with the broader executive team.
 Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in communications, spanning internal, external, executive, or enablement communications.
  • Track record launching and managing communication plans/campaigns, with metrics-driven iteration.
  • Experience partnering with GTM or executive leaders on positioning and change management.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively across matrixed content (multiple personas, industries, products).
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to accelerate content creation.
  • Experience managing a communications calendar and distribution lists across groups.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, agile, results-oriented environment.
  • Program and project management fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Zoom Webinars, Google Apps or Microsoft Suite, Slack, and email tools.

The base salary range for this position is 114,000 - 191,400 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
