NVIDIA is seeking a standout Field Application Engineer (FAE) to lead technical integration of GPU, CPU, DPU, and networking technologies into OEM storage solutions for AI datacenters, serving as the primary technical liaison between NVIDIA engineering and strategic storage partners.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide expert technical support for integrating Nvidia GPU, CPU, DPU and networking solutions into OEM partner solutions, resolving complex hardware, software, and deployment challenges.
Serve as the technical lead for NVIDIA products, partnering closely with sales account managers to deliver high-performance AI datacenter solutions.
Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer engineers, architects, and decision-makers at key enterprise AI accounts.
Identify customer architectures and translate evolving requirements into actionable insights for product and solution development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering, product, and support teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years in system design or technical customer support in the switching and routing industry.
Deep understanding of datacenter hardware including servers, storage systems, and network devices, with extensive experience debugging Ethernet or IB protocol issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of navigating complex technical challenges.
Proven ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities and initiatives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience integrating solutions into OEM platforms and supporting large-scale datacenter equipment rollouts.
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand (IB), RDMA, RoCE, NICs, and switches.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with embedded Linux systems, APIs, and related OS environments.
Solid understanding of CPU architecture and storage protocols across block, file, object, and cloud environments.
Proven ability to collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
