Role Overview:

Could you be our next FEP Outbound Sales Specialist? Globe Life is looking for an FEP Outbound Sales Specialist to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outbound and receiving inbound calls and determining the proper action for each, recording information and maintaining this department's procedures and policies, and providing excellent customer service and assisting policyholders as needed.

The successful candidate will need to be a performance-driven, phone-skilled public-facing professional.

This is a remote / work-from-home position. We have full-time and part-time positions available.  

What You Will Do:

  • Maneuver within our CRM while speaking with recently approved customers to collect the first premium to activate their Life Insurance policy.
  • Make outbound calls to newly issued businesses to welcome them to the Globe Life Family, ensure their policy is accurate, and assist with any additional information pertaining to their new policy.
  • Explain policy benefits to potential customers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork when needed.
  • Assist with correspondence and error corrections for policy service. 
  • Heavy outbound/inbound telecommunication and moderate writing.  Heavy phone and PC usage. Sitting still for extended periods of time.

What You Can Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of sales experience or 1+ years in a professional call center environment with sales responsibilities.
  • Licensed in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance is preferred but not required.
  • 1+ years of outbound/inbound sales call center experience preferred.
  • Telecommunications sales experience is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Life and Health insurance background with knowledge of insurance products and sales strategies preferred, but not required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong persuasive communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent phone presence, able to engage prospects and close sales.
  • Must be comfortable processing sales transactions via credit card and bank draft payment options.
  • Strong objection-handling skills and ability to overcome customer resistance.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate insurance solutions.

  • Ability to multitask between lead management, sales calls, and follow-up activities.
  • Competitive attitude with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of customer and sales information.
