As the inaugural Federal Business Development Representative, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and establish a qualified sales pipeline that drives growth within our Federal Sales department. This role requires a disciplined, organized, and mission-driven individual with a strong understanding of the federal market.
Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Generate qualified opportunities for the Federal Account Executive team through both outbound and inbound channels.
- Uncover prospective customer goals and challenges and align them to the problem Game Warden solves.
- Collaborate and partner closely with your aligned Account Executives and cross-departmentally
- Continually refine and enhance processes based on self-evaluation and managerial feedback.
- Continuously improve your product, industry, and sales knowledge and competencies.
- Meet and exceed sales performance benchmarks through daily and weekly activities.
- Maintain strong data hygiene within sales tooling, primarily Salesforce.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a top performing BDR/SDR, Account Executive, or similar sales role within the Federal space.
- Have a strong passion in matters of national security.
- A self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting a book of business for multiple Account Executives.
- Excellent communication, written, and active listening skills
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Team oriented, coachable, collaborative, proactive, accountable, disciplined, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Proficiency with cold engagements via email, phone, linkedin, in-person events.
- Experience with sales tools including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, GovWin, and GovSignals.
