The NewBeauty Features Editor will be responsible for leading the strategy, creation, and execution of aesthetic-focused editorial and branded content across New Beauty’s platforms. This role will oversee content initiatives that inspire, educate, and engage readers while ensuring alignment with NewBeauty’s editorial voice, brand standards, and authority within the beauty and aesthetics industry. The Features Editor will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, partnerships, and digital teams to deliver high-quality content that resonates with both consumers and professionals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of editorial and branded content strategies focused on aesthetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, injectables, and emerging beauty treatments.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality multimedia content including articles, videos, features, and social-first storytelling.
  • Collaborate with editors, writers, designers, and video producers to ensure accuracy, creativity, and brand consistency.
  • Partner with practice partnerships, brand partnerships, and marketing teams to create content that supports both editorial authority and advertiser objectives.
  • Stay on top of industry innovations, thought leaders, and consumer trends to keep New Beauty’s content fresh and forward-looking.
  • Ensure content meets editorial standards, regulatory requirements, and maintains scientific and clinical accuracy when needed.
  • Develop relationships with industry experts, physicians, and aesthetic professionals to source and validate content.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to optimize reach, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Mentor and lead a team of editors, writers, and contributors focused on aesthetics content.

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of editorial or content development experience within beauty, aesthetics, wellness, or lifestyle publishing.
  • Strong understanding of the aesthetics industry, including treatments, procedures, and consumer trends.
  • Proven experience creating and leading content strategies across digital, social, and print.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationships with beauty and aesthetics experts, physicians, and thought leaders a plus.
  • Passion for beauty, wellness, and aesthetics, with a strategic mindset and creative vision.
