Our Aston Martin San Diego dealership is seeking a highly driven, customer-focused Finance & Insurance (F&I) and Sales Manager to lead both finance operations and sales performance. This hybrid leadership role is responsible for maximizing dealership profitability while delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Insurance Responsibilities
- Structure vehicle deals in compliance with lender guidelines and dealership policy
- Perform credit interviews, prepare credit applications, and ensure accuracy of all customer financial information
- Analyze credit reports and match customers with appropriate lending programs
- Submit deals, resolve lender stipulations, and ensure timely funding
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations, dealership policies, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- Protect confidentiality of all customer financial data
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lending partners
- Review and approve financial transactions and ensure proper deal structuring
- Sell finance products including service contracts, protection products, and insurance options
- Maintain funding, call-in, and contracts-in-transit logs
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all funding documentation prior to submission
- Train and support sales and administrative staff on compliance and funding processes
- Evaluate lender programs and recommend improvements
- Support special finance opportunities and profitability analysis
Sales Management Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve unit sales and gross profit targets
- Set performance expectations and ensure accountability across the sales department
- Oversee daily sales operations across showroom, digital, and phone channels
- Train and mentor Brand Specialists to improve performance and customer experience
- Manage negotiation processes and ensure customers fully understand purchase options and pricing
- Appraise trade-in vehicles and support inventory decisions
- Partner with leadership on new and used vehicle inventory strategy
- Analyze performance and implement action plans to improve results
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and premium brand experience standards
- Manage controllable expenses within the sales department
- Support marketing and advertising initiatives to drive traffic and sales

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of automotive sales management experience required
- At least 3 years of automotive F&I experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to mentor and develop teams
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Strong financial, mathematical, and analytical ability
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to set and achieve performance goals
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- AFIP certification preferred
- Bilingual ability is a plus
