What You'll Be Doing
- Develop ESDMD collaboration environments in conjunction with user needs and programmatic requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to support program requirements and technical team needs.
- Lead the technical coordination between Centers/programs supporting ESDMD SAO integration
- Support commercial partner accessibility to Next STEP/Moon2Mars collaborative environments and technical exchange platforms
- Support international partner accessibility to Moon2Mars collaborative environments and technical exchange platforms, which include but not limited to JAXA, CSA, and ESA.
- Work with KSC development teams to communicate project requirements and ensure operational readiness.
- Serve as the main POC for maintenance and accuracy of ESDMD SAO collaborative environments.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and design customized SharePoint solutions aligned with the goals and objectives of the NASA, encompassing document management, task tracking, collaboration portals, and knowledge repositories.
- Configure and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms to optimize functionality, usability, and performance in support of programmatic needs and operational workflows.
- Implement user-friendly interfaces and intuitive navigation structures within SharePoint sites, ensuring ease of access to critical information and resources for team members involved in activities
- Provide expertise to support inquiries by the technical community on SAO environments
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement policy and procedures in accordance with ESDMD/SAO and NASA strategic goals and objectives
- Identify breakthrough capabilities scanning NASA internal and external technology development activities
What You Need to be Successful - Project Management Staff IV
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university program
- 10 years or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering and/or scientific experience, project/ program management, including experience in data integration
- Experience serving as integration leader and/or coordinator of a team of technical contributors.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, small core team that leads technical discussions across a large technical community and influence teams across the NASA enterprise
- Proficiency in SharePoint architecture, site hierarchy, and security models
- Strong understanding of SharePoint, Nintex workflow, and Data Structures Design/Development
- Strong understanding of web development languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful web services, HTML, CSS, JSON, SQL)
- Superior analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including effectively explaining concepts to managers and scientists
- Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and provide direction on competing priorities.
- Prior experience identifying and resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
- Ability to effectively utilize oral and written communication to express technical concepts and recommendations to personnel at all technical and managerial levels
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
- This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
