Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished, seasoned Lead Product Manager to define and drive the strategy for Netwrix Auditor - the compliance audit and security-investigation backbone of Netwrix Security. In this role, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market execution for the highest CSAT rated product in the company's portfolio, and its migration to a true multi-tenant SaaS offering.

The ideal candidate combines deep product management expertise with strong knowledge of data security posture management, compliance auditing and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CMMC, SOC 2), plus fluency in the SIEM, SOAR, and SOC technologies (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, ServiceNow, and similar) that security operations and compliance teams rely on every day. You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring Netwrix Auditor delivers curated, audit-ready evidence for compliance teams and near real-time alerting with rapid, interactive forensic investigation for SecOps analysts — activity, access, and configuration-change auditing across Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, file servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure, with advance DSPM capabilities in support of that mission.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define the vision and long-term strategy for Netwrix Auditor, aligned with company priorities and the compliance-audit and security-operations market.
  • Own the product roadmap, including backlog prioritization and release planning, closing on-premises-to-SaaS parity gaps that unlock migration of the Auditor installed base.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Own the Auditor’s GTM strategy and partnership strategy with the Data Security solution suite, driving Auditor attach on cross-portfolio opportunities, and brief industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) to sharpen Auditor’s competitive and category positioning.
  • Conduct ongoing discovery with internal auditors, compliance officers, and SecOps/SOC analysts to identify requirements for audit evidence, framework mapping, and investigation workflows.
  • Track the competitive and analyst landscape (Gartner, Forrester, and others) across compliance auditing and SIEM/SOAR-adjacent categories to inform positioning.

Product Execution

  • Partner with engineering to deliver curated, audit-ready compliance capabilities mapped to frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CMMC, and SOC 2, alongside real-time alerting, rapid forensic investigation, behavioral analytics (UEBA), and AI-driven threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Ensure deep integration with SIEM, SOAR, and SOC ecosystems (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, ServiceNow) for alert export, extended schema, and workflow/action orchestration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success on the Auditor-to-1Secure SaaS migration motion, protecting and growing the largest single renewal base in the portfolio.
  • Define and monitor product success metrics, including renewal rate, audit-preparation time reduction, investigation mean time to resolution, and SaaS conversion rate.

Innovation

  • Champion AI-driven investigation and compliance-reporting automation, including anomaly and threat-pattern detection layered onto activity and change data.
  • Ensure Netwrix Auditor's DSPM capability dovetail into the broader Netwrix DSPM story, and the 1Secure SaaS platform vision, while deepening the product's compliance and SIEM/SOAR/SOC story, and laying the groundwork for advance Threat-Detection capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 4 years in cybersecurity, data security, threat detection & response, security-investigation products, compliance auditing, IT audit, or SIEM/SOAR/SOC solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of DSPM, Data Access Governance, or adjacent domains (DLP, IGA, compliance automation, risk management).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CMMC, SOC 2) and how audit-ready reporting and evidence are built and maintained.
  • Deep familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and SOC technologies and integration patterns (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, ServiceNow) — alerting, schema/export design, and workflow/action orchestration.
  • Demonstrated success migrating or modernizing a mature on-premises product into a true multi-tenant SaaS offering while protecting a large, high-renewing customer base.
  • Comfortable owning a true multi-tenant SaaS product and the operating cadence — continuous delivery, telemetry-driven prioritization — that comes with it.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
