We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

Netflix House is our first-ever permanent, year-round destination where fans can eat, play, and shop their favorite Netflix stories—in real life. We are seeking a Web & Digital Marketing Manager to own and lead strategy for Netflix House’s digital presence across the website, third-party platforms, and within the broader Netflix ecosystem. This role requires a strategic thinker with cross-functional range and leadership, who can align web/digital strategy with performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and beyond to drive fan engagement and revenue. You will partner closely with Product & Tech, Revenue/Ticketing, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Lifecycle/CRM, Paid Media, Brand Strategy, Consumer Insights, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Strategy
    • Own overall marketing strategy for the Netflix House website, ensuring it reflects business goals and the fan experience.
    • Serve as the main marketing POC to Product & Tech on the website roadmap, feature prioritization, and requirements– writing and delivering all strategy briefs that translate business priorities into web experience updates (i.e. merchandising updates, new revenue products, programming event visibility).
    • Keep the site continuously optimized against revenue and stakeholder priorities for existing and new Netflix House locations, including revenue product launches, attraction rotations, and group sales.
    • Drive website CVR performance, partnering with other stakeholder teams to hit goals and identify optimizations. Build understanding of how different web traffic sources engage and convert on site to inform future recommendations.
    • Build and manage a web learning agenda that combines A/B testing with qualitative research from Consumer Insights, in partnership with Product, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Paid Media, and Lifecycle/CRM.
    • Drive landing page strategy and optimization for paid media and lifecycle campaigns in partnership with Paid Media and Lifecycle teams.
    • Partner with Lifecycle/CRM team to ensure web experience and email/fan lifecycle strategy are cohesive and aligned with acquisition, engagement, and conversion goals.
  • Organic Search
    • Own Netflix House organic search strategy end-to-end, coordinating across Product/Eng/UX, Consumer Insights, Local, PR, Organic Social, and Tudum Editorial team.
    • Partner with the performance marketing team/agency on paid search to keep organic and paid search strategy aligned.
  • Netflix Ecosystem Presence
    • Drive strategy to grow Netflix House's visibility within the Netflix streaming ecosystem via on-platform ads, partnering cross-functionally on execution, measurement, and optimization.
    • Optimize Netflix House business profiles across third-party platforms (Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor).
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Partner with Marketing Analytics, Data Science, and Finance & Strategy to build web and organic search reporting/measurement and tracking frameworks, run ad hoc analysis, and turn insights into action.
    • Own executive-level reporting and storytelling, including quarterly QBRs, translating web and organic search learnings into materials for stakeholders and leadership, in partnership with Marketing Analytics.
  • People Management
    • Manage the Web Execution Lead, who handles end-to-end web content execution, including asset development, CMS content uploads, and issue triaging with Product.

Qualifications

  • Experience & Expertise
    • 12+ years in digital marketing, including 5+ years of direct people management, with a focus on web and organic search strategy for a sales-driven B2C eCommerce business.
    • Proven success optimizing websites for conversion, including A/B testing programs that measurably improved CVR.
    • Strong partnership track record with Product/Eng/UX teams, from writing briefs that translate business objectives into product requirements through launching new features.
    • Organic search (SEO/AEO) expertise, including technical SEO, content/keyword strategy, and site architecture, with a demonstrated track record of directly improving organic traffic and search performance for a B2C site.
    • Experience building web strategy from 0-to-1 and scaling digital initiatives quickly in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
    • Knowledge of adjacent growth marketing disciplines, including Paid Media, Lifecycle/CRM, and Marketing Analytics.
  • Leadership & Judgment
    • Demonstrated executive presence, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to build trust and influence senior leadership through clear memos, briefs, and executive-level presentations.
    • Track record of driving initiatives independently and aligning large, cross-functional stakeholder groups with minimal oversight.
    • Strong problem-solving ability and judgment in prioritizing across competing initiatives and stakeholder demands, with a focus on highest-impact work.
    • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Working Style
    • Direct, candid communicator, comfortable giving and receiving honest feedback and navigating difficult conversations.
    • Persistent and resourceful, with sharp judgment, a high quality bar, and a strong bias toward fast, decisive execution. Extremely comfortable operating outside a defined role and driving high-impact work wherever it's needed.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
