Boeing Supply Chain is currently looking for an Experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Long Beach, CA, Saint Louis, MO, or Mesa, AZ. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of data analytics as these positions will focus on working directly with the demand planning, new business, and the obsolescence team to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the BGS business to meet their organizational goals.

- Performs defined data analytics tasks to meet business objectives.
- Applies standard methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation steps.
- Creation and maintenance of analysis conducted in R environment requiring understanding of R programming language.
- Develops Tableau dashboards requiring experience in SQL coding.
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.
- Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics
- 3+ years of experience applying statistical concepts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- R Programming language experience
- SQL coding experience
- Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience
