DecisionPoint seeks an Experience Strategist (Senior) to lead experience strategy in support of Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) initiatives under the MODES III contract. This role supports Task 2 Outreach and Engagement services by converting MC&FP objectives into cohesive experience principles, user journeys, and service models that span channels, platforms, and programs. 

The Experience Strategist partners closely with Outreach and Engagement leadership, Product Owners, and cross functional teams to align experiences across MC&FP offerings. This position plays a critical role in ensuring experiences are mission aligned, consistent, and measurable. 

This position is fully remote. 

Duties & Responsibilities

The Experience Strategist (Senior) will: 

  • Translate MC&FP objectives into experience principles, user journeys, and service models. 
  • Align experiences across channels, platforms, programs, and campaigns. 
  • Partner closely with Outreach and Engagement leadership and Product Owners. 
  • Lead experience strategy for Special Projects and enterprise initiatives. 
  • Define experience success criteria and measurement approaches. 
  • Ensure experience strategies are operationalized across teams and platforms. 
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders around experience goals. 
  • Collaborate with UX, content, analytics, and platform teams to drive cohesive execution. 
  • Provide guidance on prioritization and sequencing of experience improvements. 
  • Support development of experience strategy documentation, roadmaps, and artifacts. 
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across end to end experiences. 
  • Support continuous improvement of experience strategy methodologies. 
Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust from any federal agency. 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field. 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading experience strategy, service design, or customer experience initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated experience developing experience principles, journeys, and service models. 
  • Experience aligning experiences across multiple channels and platforms. 
  • Experience supporting federal or public-sector programs preferred. 

Technical Knowledge 

Required: 

  • Expertise in experience strategy and service design methodologies. 
  • Ability to define experience metrics and success criteria. 
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills. 
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable execution guidance. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting digital platforms and enterprise services. 
  • Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery environments. 
  • Experience partnering with Product Owners and delivery teams. 

Certifications 

Required: 

  • None 

Preferred: 

  • Agile or SAFe certification 

Skills
