Executive Recruiter - Tech & Product Orgs

Location: San Francisco or Bellevue/Seattle (Prioritizing candidates already residing in commuting distance to these offices)
We are looking for an Executive Recruiter to join our efficient and impactful executive recruiting team within Salesforce Global Recruiting. In this role, the successful candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of executive search including market mapping of external leaders, candidate development & engagement, close partnership with the business and offer strategy and negotiation. The Executive Recruiter will support hiring for VP level and above roles for our Tech & Products organizations. The types of roles could range from Software Engineering to Infrastructure to Product to Business Technology to AI research and more. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers, Org leaders, Finance, HR Business Partners & COE partners, Legal, Executive Compensation and Mobility to drive the hiring strategy and process.

  • Develop search strategies and perform thorough assessments to assess talent. Calibrate candidates with hiring managers and senior leaders.

  • Be committed to developing trusted relationships with candidates from the first call in order to craft a winning offer & story; Use active listening & learning to drive an effective offer strategy & negotiation.

  • Conduct research to map target companies.

  • Identify and build key relationships with the most qualified executive talent in the industry.

  • Contribute to the knowledge base of orgs by providing education on relevant industries and talent pools/profiles.

  • Lead update meetings with the business on active searches as well as strategic business reviews as needed.

  • Partner with Executive Onboarding to ensure a seamless transition into Salesforce.

  • Provide exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Able to work in the San Francisco, Palo Alto or Seattle/Bellevue office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience that includes full cycle recruiting, executive sourcing and research.

  • Expertise in recruiting leaders for a variety of functions within the technology industry.

  • History of collaborating with senior business leaders from top-tier companies.

  • Proven expertise in offer development and negotiation

  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends, industry news, and tech industry executive moves in the AMER marketplace.

  • Commitment to improving our team's processes with the use of agents to make us more efficient.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to provide concise, clear & informative comms.

  • Proven ability to earn trust and credibility quickly while positively influencing the search process; ability to communicate the right message for the audience by using instincts and good judgement.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Extensive sourcing and pipeline building experience.

  • Experience in executive search in house at a tech company or at a retained search firm.

  • Curiosity; love of the thrill of filling difficult searches and building long-term relationships with candidates along the way.

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, often with ambiguity, and tight deadlines.

  • Team player who is collaborative and supportive of their teammates around the globe, as well as their peers and partners within the Professional Recruiting organization

  • Thrives in a fast paced, high growth environment where change is constant.

  • Outstanding references at the Executive level from former customers and candidates.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
