As our Executive Protection Practice Lead, you will lead BlackCloak’s efforts to engage and grow strategic partnerships within the executive protection and high-net-worth security ecosystem. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor and industry advocate—sharing insights on threat landscapes, client expectations, and Executive Protection trends that shape the way protection professionals support their principals. You’ll build strong, trust-driven relationships with executive protection firms and their stakeholders, amplifying the voice of the field and aligning our solutions to meet their evolving needs.

You’ll represent BlackCloak at key industry events, contribute to thought leadership through panels and publications, and help position us as the digital protection partner of choice. Internally, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to tailor our offering for the unique demands of executive protection use cases—ensuring that our approach remains people-first, discreet, and operationally seamless.

You should be adept at navigating complex situations, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and confident speaking to both large audiences and high-stakes stakeholders. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with global reach, requiring strategic focus, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of purpose.

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive protection partners and internal teams, offering expert guidance on the intersection of physical and digital threat landscapes.
  • Champion the voice of the Executive Protection  partner and end client, ensuring their priorities influence product development, service design, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive protection firms, advisors, and security leads—positioning BlackCloak as a critical extension of their protection toolkit.
  • Lead tailored demonstrations and consultations with prospective and existing partners, collaborating closely with Strategic Sales to implement high-impact solutions.
  • Represent BlackCloak as a thought leader through conference participation, webinars, published content, and analyst engagements—elevating our brand within the EP and security communities.
  • Engage actively in executive protection industry associations, forums, and events to promote collaboration and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Support client delivery teams by providing specialized expertise during key partner and client engagements to drive trust and long-term value.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay partner feedback, assess new features, and guide usability improvements to better align with the needs of field teams and protectees.
  • Contribute strategic input to service innovation and roadmap planning to ensure offerings remain discreet, relevant, and ahead of market expectations.
  • Cultivate a robust network of executive protection, cybersecurity, and threat intelligence professionals to broaden BlackCloak’s reach and credibility.
  • Partner with Business Development and company leadership to identify new growth opportunities, refine our partner engagement model, and expand service offerings.
  • Jump in alongside teams when needed—whether that means problem-solving in the field, assisting with onboarding, or addressing an urgent partner need.
  • Willingness to pursue industry certifications or training to deepen your knowledge of executive protection, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
  • Travel up to 50% to meet with partners, attend events, and support key client relationships across the U.S. and internationally.

What you need to be successful

  • 15+ years of experience in the security industry, with a strong understanding of executive protection, cybersecurity, or adjacent domains.
  • Exceptional presence and communication skills, with confidence presenting to and engaging with diverse audiences—from field teams to Fortune 500 boardrooms.
  • Proven experience working directly with C-suite executives, including independently developing presentations, shaping strategic conversations, and guiding decision-making.
  • Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional collaboration under tight timelines.
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven judgment, with the ability to make fast, informed decisions in dynamic situations.
  • Excellent influencing skills; able to unify internal teams and external partners around shared objectives—without relying on formal authority.
  • Deep curiosity and a passion for continuous learning—whether exploring new technologies, building new relationships, or entering new markets.A collaborative mindset and comfort engaging in healthy, respectful debate to refine ideas and align on a shared vision.
