The Security Special Services Team encompasses Anduril's Crisis Management, Threat Intelligence, Investigations, Travel Security, GSOC, and Executive Protection Divisions. ABOUT THE JOB

As the Travel Security Lead, you will serve as a key individual contributor within Anduril's international travel security program, focusing on hands-on risk analysis, traveler support, and operational execution. Reporting to the Travel Security Manager, you will leverage your global intelligence expertise to identify and mitigate travel risks, ensuring seamless support for Anduril's mobile workforce. This role emphasizes tactical implementation, real-time monitoring, and collaboration, providing an opportunity to contribute directly to program growth while maintaining a focus on high-impact, individual deliverables in a dynamic defense technology environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform in-depth pre-travel risk assessments for global destinations, analyzing geopolitical, health, crime, and environmental threats to inform traveler decisions.
  • Utilize travel tracking software to monitor employee locations in real-time, issuing alerts and coordinating responses to emerging risks.
  • Develop and distribute customized pre-travel security briefs, incorporating open-source intelligence, embassy advisories, and site-specific recommendations.
  • Support the delivery of travel security training sessions, focusing on high-risk scenarios, emergency protocols, and personal mitigation techniques.
  • Lead incident triage and response for travel-related events, such as delays, medical issues, or security disruptions, while documenting outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with GSOC and threat intelligence teams to integrate travel data into broader risk dashboards and reporting.
  • Conduct post-travel debriefs and program audits to identify trends, refine processes, and enhance traveler preparedness.
  • Assist in vendor management for travel security tools and services, ensuring cost-effective and compliant solutions.
  • Contribute to policy updates and program metrics, providing insights to support strategic enhancements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Security Studies, Global Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in travel risk management, global security operations, or intelligence analysis, with hands-on use of tracking software and brief creation.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments for high-risk destinations and deliver actionable intelligence products.
  • Strong technical proficiency in security tools, including mapping software, alert systems, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with experience in training facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions during incidents and working rotating shifts if needed for global coverage.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in fusion centers, corporate intelligence, or military travel operations, with familiarity in tools like Dataminr for threat monitoring.
  • Multilingual capabilities and experience supporting executive or field teams in volatile regions.
  • Demonstrated success in incident response planning, including simulations and after-action reviews.
US Salary Range
$98,000$130,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
