argenx US commercial team is looking for an Executive Director, US HCP Marketing for our CIDP Indication. The Executive Director will be a senior commercial leader accountable for maximizing growth of VYVGART Hytrulo in CIDP while strategically preparing for and integrating the launch of Empasiprubart for the treatment of CIDP, within a multi-asset therapeutic franchise.

You are accountable for leading the HCP commercial strategy, customer engagement model, and coordinated execution for the CIDP indication within our Neurology HCP Marketing community. This position will report to Neurology Marketing Community Lead, US HCP Experience.

You will partner closely with the Vice President, HCP Experience; HCP Marketing Indication and Brand Leads; Field Leadership; Thought Leader Liaisons; Market Access; Medical Affairs; Patient Experience; Digital; Insights; and other cross-community partners to develop and execute integrated HCP engagement strategies that support business performance, launch readiness, and a consistent customer experience across the Neurology portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HCP promotional strategy and execution to maximize growth for VYVGART Hytrulo in Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)

  • Monitor portfolio performance, market dynamics, customer feedback, and engagement data to identify opportunities to optimize CIDP strategy, priorities, and execution.

  • Collaborate with Global ICT and cross-functional partners to define the dual-asset strategy and co-positioning framework to ensure upcoming Empasiprubart launch in CIDP enhances franchise value.

  • Develop a franchise-level value narrative that clarifies differentiation between two brands for CIDP while reinforcing complementary strengths.

  • Lead HCP disease awareness and unbranded education strategies to shape the management of CIDP and elevate unmet needs.

  • Ensure field teams have the messages, tools, training, and customer context needed to effectively engage HCPs across customer segments.

  • Co-create evidence generation priorities in partnership with Medical and Development to support long-term differentiation.

  • Anticipate competitive shifts and adapt ecosystem strategy accordingly.

  • Serve as a core strategic voice for the HCP customer within the CIDP Indication Strategy Team.

  • Provide clear direction, prioritization, and performance expectations for CIDP workstreams and cross-community initiatives.

  • Model enterprise mindset, cross-functional influence, and disciplined prioritization.

  • Provide executive-ready strategic recommendations supported by analytics and scenario modeling.

  • Partner with the Customer Engagement & Experience Community Lead to ensure Neurology HCP engagement reflects enterprise experience standards, journey design principles, voice of customer, and consistent engagement practices.

  • Lead, coach, and develop members of the HCP Experience team, including direct reports and matrixed contributors supporting HCP marketing, customer engagement, launch planning, lifecycle management, and field enablement.

  • Create development opportunities for team members and junior marketing talent supporting Neurology initiatives, including exposure to strategic planning, customer engagement, cross-community collaboration, and launch and lifecycle work.

  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity, accountability, co-creation, innovation, excellence, and humility.

  • Ensure the team operates with strong compliance, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of the regulatory environment for HCP marketing in complex biologics and rare disease markets.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of HCP marketing strategy, customer engagement, and commercial execution in specialty, rare disease, biologics, or similarly complex markets.

  • Strong knowledge of Neurology customer ecosystems, including neurologists, academic KOLs, referral networks, and other stakeholders who influence diagnosis, treatment decisions, and patient care.

  • Ability to develop integrated HCP engagement strategies across multiple brands, indications, customer segments, and lifecycle stages.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize customer insights, market dynamics, performance data, and cross-functional input into clear strategic direction.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrix environment, influence senior stakeholders, and align teams around shared priorities without relying solely on formal authority.

  • Experience shaping customer-centered HCP journeys, engagement plans, disease-state education, peer-to-peer strategies, congress strategies, and field enablement approaches.

  • Ability to translate complex clinical, product, access, and market information into clear messages and resources that support effective HCP engagement.

  • Strong understanding of personal and non-personal promotion, digital and omnichannel engagement, modular content, customer analytics, and agile marketing ways of working.

  • Experience partnering with Field, TLL, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Digital, Insights, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external agency partners.

  • Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Ability to balance enterprise coordination with brand and indication-specific accountability.

  • Flexible to travel based on business needs.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in a relevant field such as MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or other advanced scientific or business degree preferred.

  • Seasoned commercial leader in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with approximately 12-15+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in HCP marketing, specialty marketing, launch planning, lifecycle management, or therapeutic area strategy.

  • Experience leading HCP commercial strategy and execution in rare disease, immunology, neurology, biologics, or other complex treatment markets.

  • Demonstrated experience building and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple customer segments, channels, brands, indications, or lifecycle stages.

  • Experience with product launch and lifecycle management, preferably in rare disease, specialty biologics, or markets involving complex diagnosis and treatment pathways.

  • Strong understanding of HCP customer journeys, peer influence models, KOL engagement, field enablement, disease-state education, and omnichannel engagement.

  • Track record of leading cross-community teams in a matrix environment with stakeholders across Commercial, Field, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Experience, Digital, Insights, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance.

  • Experience managing budgets, strategic priorities, agency partners, and complex executional workstreams in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent, coach teams, and lead through organizational growth, ambiguity, and change.

  • Experience working in a rapidly scaling or evolving organization preferred.
