The Executive Director of Sales, National Marketing Partnerships will be responsible for selling and collaborating on the execution of brand partnerships across the theatrical and home entertainment slate of titles, including Columbia Pictures, TriStar, Sony Pictures Animation and Crunchyroll. This person will come in with existing relationships with domestic and global brands within a diverse group of industries including QSR/Restaurants, package goods, electronics, wireless service, food/beverage, fashion and more.  They will be comfortable researching and “cold calling” potential clients, forming a strong presentation narrative and delivering best in class partnerships. Must be able to collaborate well within a team to negotiate deal terms, partnership parameters and opportunities to drive exposure for the theatrical and home entertainment release of the film through multi-faceted media campaigns while meeting brand objectives. Experience in generating revenue stream through event sponsorship is a plus.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Ability to pitch and negotiate marketing partnerships across a variety of brand categories for multiple film titles 
  • Can do attitude
  • Willing to be flexible as film priorities change
  • Craft partnership pitch lists for upcoming film releases 
  • Brainstorm and execute creative outreach strategies and conduct outreach to targeted brand partners to secure new partnerships
  • Conceptualize partnerships for key brand partners to tell the story of how and why the film partnership can deliver on the brands’ objectives 
  • Confidently present to potential and existing partners both in-person and via online virtual meetings
  • Negotiate best in class partnerships with creative excellence that will deliver a definitive marketing message for the film
  • Negotiate deal points of the partnership and develop and oversee legal contract with Business Affairs team 
  • Collaborate with Execution team throughout the campaign 
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners throughout the execution of the deal to ensure every party is getting what they need for success 
  • Partner with International Partnerships team to ensure global success where possible  
  • Work closely with other departments in the marketing division including publicity, digital, and media to maximize partnership opportunities  
  • Qualifications  
  • Minimum 8-10 years entertainment or marketing experience required 
  • BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing equivalent work experience required 
  • Understanding of different kinds of paid media including linear television, OTT, digital, out of home and social 
  • Must be able to work on multiple films at the same time 
  • Strong communication skills with a knack for storytelling 
  • Team player who can navigate both internal and external partners

The anticipated base salary for this position is $155k - 175k. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
