About Team & About Role:
We are looking for a high-judgment, proactive, and exceptionally organized individual to join the Office of the CEO. This isn't just a communications role; it is a "force multiplier" position that will amplify the CEO’s reach, maximize their time, and manage their most critical professional relationships.
You will act as the voice of the CEO across internal and external platforms. You will simultaneously serve as a strategic advisor - using instinct and critical thinking to identify emerging issues before they become problems and ensure the CEO is always one step ahead.
You will have a front-row seat to the scaling of a company and sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, and leadership, giving you an unparalleled bird’s-eye view of how a CEO operates at the highest level.
What You’ll Do:
- Executive Communications & Ghostwriting
- Internal Voice: Draft compelling, authentic internal emails and Slack announcements that align with the company’s culture and strategic goals. Partner with Head of Employee Comms.
- Customer-Facing Voice: Draft customer-facing communications to customers, prospects, partners, and more.
- External Presence: Manage the CEO’s public profile, specifically LinkedIn; draft thought-leadership posts, engage with industry peers, and monitor trends.
- High-Profile Events: Script and storyboard content for keynotes, industry panels, and quarterly employee meetings. Partner with the Chief of Communications and Chief Strategy Officer.
- Relationship Management & "Seeing Around Corners"
- Proactive Networking: Maintain the CEO’s "relationship map." You’ll ensure high-value contacts (customers, partners, investors) receive timely "touches" - congratulatory notes, follow-ups, or relevant industry articles. Partner with Executive Assistant to CEO.
- Inbox Diplomacy: Manage the CEO’s high-volume inbox; prioritize urgent matters (e.g., customer escalations), draft responses, and delegate tasks to other leaders to ensure no balls are dropped. Partner with Customer Advocacy, OTCEO.
- Operational Continuity (The Force Multiplier)
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer to ensure CEO communications reflect the long-term roadmap of the business.
- Executive Support Backup: Serve as the primary "fail-safe" for the CEO’s Executive Assistant. During the EA’s absence, you will handle complex calendaring, global travel logistics, and day-to-day administrative firefighting.
