Peak Energy is seeking an Executive & Communications Intern to support critical functions across executive operations, internal coordination, logistics, and communications. In this role, you will work closely with company leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive day-to-day alignment, enhance internal communication, and support high-priority planning efforts as the company scales.
You will gain direct exposure to the inner workings of a high-growth environment– learning how leadership teams set strategic priorities, coordinate execution, and communicate across the organization. Your contributions will help ensure operational clarity, maintain momentum across key initiatives, and strengthen how we show up both internally and externally.
This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, highly organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail, ability to plan ahead, and comfort handling sensitive information will be critical.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact, communicating directly with executives, external partners, and high-level stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and clarity
- Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for senior leadership
- Coordinate events, leadership offsites, and cross-functional workshops, ensuring all logistics– scheduling, travel, venues, and materials are handled smoothly
- Manage on-site execution for meetings, including catering, space setup, and technical or material needs
- Help coordinate communications around major milestones and monitor communications performance metrics
- Help build and maintain a scalable platform to track and manage recurring activities such as internal events, leadership engagements, and communications initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Sustainability or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proactive and resourceful mindset; comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management tools and creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro X) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional teams
- Interest in renewable energy, climate tech, or early-stage startups
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
