We’re seeking a proactive, highly organized Business Development Associate/Executive Support based in Los Angeles to support our CEO in managing daily priorities, communications, and special initiatives while also contributing to early-stage business development activities.

This hybrid role blends traditional executive support with creative, business-minded projects. You’ll help streamline operations, coordinate meetings and events, and manage key communications, while also assisting the BD team with research, outreach, and lead management to help grow our client base.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and wants to work closely with senior leadership in the games industry.

The position will require regular on-site presence at the CEO’s office in Los Angeles and attendance at meetings and events as needed.

Key Responsibilities:Executive Support
  • Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, emails, and daily schedule to ensure efficient time management.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and concise summaries for meetings and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate travel, events, and conferences; manage logistics and documentation.
  • Act as a gatekeeper — protecting the CEO’s bandwidth while ensuring key issues and opportunities are addressed promptly.
  • Draft, edit, and review external communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Support planning and execution of company-led events (e.g. Wonder Womxn, Devoted Speakeasy, mixers, and podcasts).
Business Development Support
  • Research and identify potential clients: primarily game developers and publishers in North America and Europe.
  • Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring outreach notes and contact information are accurate and current.
  • Support cold email and LinkedIn outreach efforts, assisting with initial follow-ups and scheduling meetings.
  • Prepare pitch decks and maintain BD documentation, ensuring project and portfolio materials are up to date.
  • Assist with conference preparation, prospect tracking, and lead handoff to the BD team.
  • Track industry trends, upcoming events, and networking opportunities relevant to Devoted Studios’ growth.
Personal Assistance (10–15%)

Provide occasional personal support for the CEO for logistical or personal tasks when necessary.


Requirements
  • 3+ years in an executive support, operations, or project coordination role, preferably in a creative, tech, or gaming environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen, able to understand company priorities and assist in light BD functions (research, outreach, CRM upkeep).
  • Experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems, and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Asana, etc.).
  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Confident, extroverted, proactive, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with the video games, outsourcing, trailers or creative production industries.

Salary range: 60,000 - 70,000 USD

This is a remote, full-time contracted position.
