At Future, we believe that personal connection is the key to progress. Our mission is to make world-class coaching accessible to everyone, helping people unlock their full potential through expert guidance, motivation, and accountability. As a digital personal training platform, we deliver highly personalized coaching, tailoring workout plans and support to each individual’s goals - all through a seamless app experience.

Since launching in 2017, Future has grown from a brainstorm in a San Francisco cafe into the nation’s largest provider of personal training sessions. In January 2025, Future announced its merger with Autograph, the company founded by 7x World Champion and entrepreneur Tom Brady. We’re poised for massive growth as we expand our brand, forge new partnerships with some of the world’s most iconic athletes, and harness AI to enhance and scale our coaching experience.

As we continue to grow, we’re investing in cutting-edge technology, deepening our roster of elite coaches, and building new partnerships. If you're passionate about shaping the future of fitness, come join us - we’re just getting started.

THE ROLE

We're hiring an Executive Assistant to partner directly with our C-Suite and operate as a force multiplier across the company. This is not a traditional administrative role, and it is not a stepping stone we're treating lightly. We're looking for someone with the judgment, presence, and ambition to grow into broader operational and strategic scope over time.

You'll be embedded in the highest-leverage work happening at Future — optimizing executive time, driving alignment across the leadership team, and ensuring critical priorities move forward without friction. You'll own the cadence and quality of our All Hands, build executive-ready decks, run cross-functional projects end-to-end, and serve as the heartbeat of our LA office — the person who makes it a place people want to be. You'll manage complexity, filter signal from noise, and create structure where none exists.

This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity and pace. There are no layers between you and the executives you support, and no layers between you and the decisions that shape the company. You'll operate with context, discretion, and a strong point of view — anticipating needs before they surface and solving problems before they slow things down.

This is an in-office role at our Los Angeles office.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Executive Leverage & Time Optimization

  • Own complex calendar management across multiple C-Suite leaders — prioritizing ruthlessly and ensuring time is spent on the highest-leverage work.
  • Manage inboxes, communications, and daily briefs so executives are prepared, informed, and focused.
  • Operate as an extension of the executive — anticipating needs and removing friction before it appears.

Company Communications & All Hands

  • Lead the planning, production, and execution of company All Hands — agenda, run of show, speaker prep, slides, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Build and refine executive-ready presentations for board meetings, leadership offsites, all-company moments, and external partners.
  • Partner with the executive team to shape internal narrative and ensure consistency in voice, message, and visual quality.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted liaison for internal and external stakeholders — including board members, investors, partners, and elite athletes.
  • Manage communication flows across teams to drive alignment and follow-through on executive priorities.
  • Prepare materials for high-stakes meetings: agendas, briefing documents, pre-reads, and decks.

Execution & Operations

  • Coordinate high-impact meetings end-to-end: agendas, notes, action items, and follow-ups that actually close.
  • Track priorities across the leadership team and ensure key initiatives move forward.
  • Manage travel logistics and scheduling with precision and attention to detail.

LA Office & Workplace Experience

  • Own the day-to-day operations of our Los Angeles office — making it a place people are excited to come to.
  • Manage snacks, supplies, and vendor relationships; keep the space clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
  • Host visitors — coaches, partners, candidates, board members — with warmth and polish.
  • Plan and execute team lunches, offsites, celebrations, and culture moments that bring people together.

Special Projects & Systems

  • Own and execute cross-functional projects that require coordination across teams and functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and internal processes — and build the systems yourself.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity. Create repeatable systems that increase clarity, speed, and quality across the org.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years supporting C-Suite executives in a fast-paced environment — startup, high-growth tech, or top-tier strategy/finance preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience producing executive-grade decks, leading All Hands or board prep, and driving cross-functional projects beyond traditional EA scope.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and modern project management tools.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple senior stakeholders without dropping balls.

Working Style

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — you do not let things slip.
  • Proactive and anticipatory — you solve problems before they're visible.
  • Strong communicator — clear, concise, and professional in writing and in person, with the polish to represent the executive team externally.
  • High discretion — you handle sensitive information with judgment and integrity.
  • Composed under pressure — you adapt quickly, hold the line on quality, and keep the room calm.
  • Low ego, high ownership — you do what needs to be done to keep the business moving.
  • Ambitious — you see this role as the foundation for broader operational and strategic scope, and you're hungry for it.

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Exposure to strategic projects, business operations, or chief of staff–adjacent work.
  • Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously.
  • Genuine interest in health, wellness, fitness, or sports.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

We believe great people should be well paid and meaningfully invested in what they're building. We hire people who raise the bar, and we compensate accordingly — with competitive salary, meaningful equity, and benefits designed to support your life and growth.

  • Base Compensation: $100,000–$130,000. The salary range is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
