Veriff is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to serve as a key operations partner for our US-based leadership team. You will bring structure to a fast-paced environment, anticipating needs before they arise and ensuring our top executives operate at their highest level.

What You’ll Do
  • Executive Support: Manage sophisticated calendars, inbox triage, and complex domestic/international travel across US and European time zones.
  • Meeting & Event Management: Coordinate board meetings, monthly business reviews, and offsites—including agendas, briefing materials, and action-item tracking.
  • Communication: Draft and proofread executive-level communications; serve as the primary gatekeeper and point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Support strategic initiatives through document management, presentation creation (decks), and light project management.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have/are:
  • Experience: 5+ years supporting C-suite or VP-level leaders (ideally multiple executives simultaneously).
  • SaaS Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and project tools (Confluence/Atlassian).
  • Operational Excellence: Ability to work independently in a remote, high-growth environment with a high degree of discretion.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills with a polished "executive presence."
  • Availability: Must be based in a US time zone with flexibility for occasional overlap with our European HQ.
You’re an especially awesome match if you are:

A system-driven operator who is proactive rather than reactive. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities with ease, and maintaining a calm, service-oriented demeanor under pressure.

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year.  Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
