JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for an Executive Assistant to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support for the President/Executive Producer across a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment. The Executive Assistant will act as the primary liaison between the President/Exec Producer and internal FOX Sports executives and external executives. The Executive Assistant will manage calendars, expense reports, and coordinate travel. The Executive Assistant must be highly organized, with the ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple priorities. 

This opportunity should be viewed as providing invaluable experience and contacts in order to better prepare a future sports or entertainment business executive.  The Executive Assistant will effectively balance changing demands and a dynamic schedule and will function well under pressure. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will have the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with other executives and assistants throughout the company. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the President and Executive Producer, including heavy calendar management/scheduling, meeting planning, and general office duties
  • Answer all incoming calls for the President and ensure that messages are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion
  • Book and coordinate a busy travel schedule that is subject to change at any given time
  • Track, manage, and submit expense reports
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages 
  • Ensure office supplies are organized and well-stocked, and order supplies as needed
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Other general office responsibilities as required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1+ years of sports or entertainment experience and administrative assistant experience
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to prioritize, organize, and establish administrative procedures and work under pressure
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and interact with high-level executives
  • Support planning and execution of company events, meetings, and activities as needed
  • Professional presence, good judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs
  • Ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER: 

  • Bachelor's degree, and an MBA is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $23.50-31.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
