About Honeyfrost

Honeyfrost is a fast-growing video game content production studio founded in 2017. With a globally distributed team of 60+ people, the company has doubled revenue every year for the past four years and is entering its next growth phase.

The environment is creative, fast-moving, and founder-led — where structure around leadership is critical to scale.

About the Founder

Paul-Louis is a visionary, energetic founder with strong creative and strategic instincts. He moves fast, values originality, and operates best when protected from noise and inefficiency.

He values loyalty, proactivity, sound judgment, and momentum. This role exists to support him personally and operationally — keeping him focused, in flow, and effective.

Role Overview

This is not a traditional EA role.

This is a Life Manager / Founder Right-Hand position, managing the Founder’s business and personal operations end-to-end. You will anticipate needs, enforce structure, build systems, and act as a force multiplier.

The role is expected to evolve into a Chief of Staff or Personal Operations Lead based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and optimize the Founder’s calendar, priorities, and communications
  • Prepare meetings (briefs, summaries, follow-ups)
  • Build and run systems that prevent anything from falling through the cracks
  • Track commitments, deadlines, and reminders
  • Light follow-up on Founder-related initiatives (not a PM role)
  • Manage personal logistics: travel, appointments, expenses
  • Oversee household needs: vendors, maintenance, subscriptions
  • Support social media posting and authority-building initiatives
  • Actively protect the Founder’s time and focus

RequirementsIdeal Profile

Must-Have

  • 3+ years as an EA, Life Manager, Operations Manager, or similar
  • Experience supporting founders or high-performing executives
  • Highly proactive, organized, and dependable
  • Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion
  • Comfortable managing both business and personal matters

Preferred

  • Startup, creative, or founder-led environments
  • Music, gaming, or creative industry exposure
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into structure
Personality Fit (Critical)
  • Proactive, calm, and solution-oriented
  • Detail-driven but flexible
  • Not ego-driven or passive
  • Growth-minded and career-oriented
Why This Role
  • Direct access to the Founder
  • High trust, high impact position
  • Clear growth path to Chief of Staff
  • Opportunity to build something long-term

If you’re looking for a career-defining role, not a traditional EA position, this may be a strong fit.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
