We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Vice President and two Directors on the Games Finance & Strategy team. This team serves as a critical partner to our vertical General Managers (GMs) and game leadership, driving strategy, opportunity assessment, planning, analytics, and decision support across our games portfolio.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times. A high level of organization and excellent communication skills are a must. We need someone who can not only be great in their day-to-day work but can also identify opportunities to make the overall team more organized and efficient. Someone who is curious, collaborative, and operates with exceptional judgment will be most successful both in the role and at Netflix.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage dynamic, high-volume calendars - proactively prioritizing time, resolving scheduling conflicts, and enabling the most effective use of the executives’ time. Maintain frequent communication with executives to keep them informed, and as needed, to help decide between tradeoffs/competing priorities.
Act as a proactive partner in leadership meetings—drafting the agenda, tracking discussion points, and following up on action items to ensure momentum. Help take meeting notes and track action items, reminding executives of their commitments and ensuring they’re prepared for priority meetings.
Stay closely connected to the team, anticipating needs, surfacing key themes, and helping the executive stay aligned with direct reports. Maintain and update communication channels (e.g., Slack, distribution lists, trackers) to ensure accessibility of business-critical information.
Collaborate closely with managers, colleagues, and cross-functional partners to gather context and stay informed of major priorities and developments in order to help make optimal decisions and recommendations related to calendar and travel.
Assist in the preparation and organization of team materials, presentations, and org charts.
Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, working across time zones and regions to ensure every detail is covered, from logistics to cultural context.
Plan team offsites, events, and department meetings/town halls - including venue sourcing, vendor and contract management, catering, travel accommodations, transportation, security, music, A/V, and more.
Process purchase orders and expense reports in a timely manner.
Help the broader Finance & Strategy team and Admin Community with purchasing supplies, office moves, back-up administrative coverage, new employee onboarding, and other assignments.
Ad hoc projects and other administrative support.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years experience as an Executive Assistant
Highly proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify potential challenges, and take action ahead of schedule to keep the executive and team prepared.
Team player with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment and a bias to action
Previous experience supporting a large cross-functional/regional team
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
Comfortable dealing with confidential or sensitive information with discretion
Willingness to make informed decisions and exercise judgement to think outside of the box
Understanding of how to prioritise and respond accordingly
