Monstro is hiring an Executive Assistant to work directly with the COO as a trusted extension of leadership. This is a high-visibility, foundational role that combines executive support, recruiting coordination, and hands-on operational execution across the company.

You’ll play a critical role in keeping Monstro’s leadership aligned, prepared, and executing—driving clarity, prioritization, and follow-through across multiple workstreams. This isn’t a traditional administrative role; it’s for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and pace—anticipating needs, simplifying complexity, and ensuring the right things get done quickly and accurately.

This position is ideal for a proactive, systems-minded operator who wants to grow within a fast-moving startup environment and eventually step into Chief of Staff or operational leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Recruiting & People Operations Support

    • Partner closely with the COO and leadership team to coordinate candidate interviews, prepare schedules, and maintain recruiting pipelines.
    • Ensure clarity and communication across all active searches, providing a seamless candidate experience.

    • Assist with onboarding logistics and people operations tasks as the team grows.
  • Operational Rhythm & Documentation

    • Manage Monstro’s weekly Tuesday-to-Tuesday operating cadence and company reporting rhythm.
    • Keep Notion, internal trackers, and documentation current and well-organized.

    • Support prep for leadership meetings, company syncs, and team updates.
  • Executive Support & Coordination

    • Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and daily priorities for the COO and other senior leaders.
    • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and actionable follow-ups to ensure alignment and progress.

    • Handle confidential information with professionalism, judgment, and discretion.
  • Project Management & Follow-Through

    • Track cross-functional action items and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
    • Follow up on key decisions to maintain accountability and momentum.

    • Support execution across special projects and company initiatives.
  • Culture & Internal Communication

    • Help plan company events, offsites, and team activities.
    • Foster strong communication loops and a transparent, connected company culture.

Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of experience supporting executives or operations leaders in high-growth or dynamic environments.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines with clarity and accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional polish.

  • Highly organized, structured, and comfortable creating systems from scratch.

  • Proficiency with Notion, Slack, GSuite, and modern workflow tools.

  • High discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Passion for startups, curiosity for how things work, and a desire to grow into broader operational or leadership roles.
