What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a highly capable, resourceful, and proactive Executive Assistant based in New York/New Jersey to support our CEO at a fast-moving startup. The role is mostly remote, with a minimal travel component.

This role goes far beyond classic administrative work - you will operate as an extension of the CEO, helping him stay focused on the highest-impact priorities, driving clarity and alignment across teams, and enabling the company to move faster and more efficiently.

If you excel in dynamic environments, have exceptional judgment, and enjoy building structure where it doesn’t exist, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

Executive Operations & Priority Management

  • Serve as the CEO’s strategic partner in planning, prioritizing, and tracking key initiatives.
  • Anticipate needs, identify roadblocks, and ensure the CEO is always prepared for upcoming meetings, decisions, and follow-ups.
  • Manage and continuously optimize the CEO’s calendar, ensuring that time is spent where it creates the most value.
  • Build lightweight processes and workflows that streamline communication and execution across the company.

Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the CEO’s liaison with internal teams, investors, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear, timely, and effective flow of information between the CEO and key functions such as Product, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of company priorities to represent the CEO’s point of view with alignment and discretion.

Operational Support & Meeting Effectiveness

  • Coordinate meetings end-to-end: set agendas, prepare materials, record key decisions, and drive accountability on action items.
  • Plan and manage logistics for travel, offsites, leadership gatherings, and company-wide initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years supporting C-level executives, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Hebrew.
  • High emotional intelligence, strong discretion, and the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the confidence to take initiative without waiting for direction.
  • Mastery of productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, project management platforms).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but proven experience and excellence matter more.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
