Build and deploy rollup smart contracts, including a Preconfirmation Registry, for an Ethereum-based appchain framework. The role involves Solidity development, product design discussions, production engineering, and potential participation in industry events. Candidates should have strong Solidity expertise, EVM knowledge, open-source or reputable-company experience, and familiarity with OP Stack code. Experience with fraud proofs, shared sequencing, modular blockchain products, ZK, and data availability is advantageous.
This is a remote position.
The employer is a Based Appchain framework on Ethereum enabling people to spin up app-specific L2s that are composable with Ethereum mainnet and other app chains.
They are opening an EVM Engineer role (Remote EU) on a permanent basis.
As the Smart Contract Engineer, you will build a Preconfirmation Registry and smart contracts of Based Appchain Framework with team.
MISSIONS :
- Implementation of Rollup smart contracts in Solidity.
- Contribution to design discussions of our products.
- You may have the opportunity to participate and talk in an event, conference or podcast.
Profil
- Very strong Solidity with strong open source contributions or track record with reputable companies.
- Solidity is a preference, however Go or Rust are also interesting alternatives.
- A deep understanding of EVM and ideally with OP stack code base.
- Experience shipping and taking engineering projects to production
- A deep understanding of fraud proofs and other rollup details is a nice to have.
Nice to have
