We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager to focus on delivering large-scale transformation projects within our EverPro business unit.

The EverPro business unit within EverCommerce offers business management solutions that help home and field service small businesses work more efficiently and improve every touchpoint with their customers.  Software solutions customized for field services, landscaping, pest and lawn, remodeling and roofing help these businesses with everything from scheduling and tracking jobs, to quoting, invoicing and payments processing, to customer relationship, review and reputation management.  

Position Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager will be our first hire in a newly formed Project Management Office within our Business Operations team. You will own the prioritization process and framework for developing and maintaining our project roadmap, in addition to the management and delivery of those projects. You will work collaboratively with our Ops Solution Managers to deliver large-scale systems consolidation and optimization efforts. This person will have experience working within and steering a PMO while also managing a portfolio of projects directly. You must be very organized and communicate effectively to varying levels of expertise in technical and business stakeholders. You have a passion to organize and accelerate the deliver of projects.

Key Responsibilities/What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Establish PMO Frameworks: As the first hire in the newly forming PMO, you will be responsible for creating and implementing initial PMO frameworks, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality project delivery across the organization.

2. Drive Large-Scale Transformation Projects: Lead and execute several large-scale transformation projects, including systems consolidation and optimization efforts for tools like Salesforce. These projects will require advanced project management skills and a deep understanding of the business operations landscape.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Ops Solution Managers to understand and translate architectural visions into executable project plans. Collaborate with Ops Systems Admins to ensure technical resources are aligned with project goals and timelines.

4. Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with functional managers across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience (CX) to ensure project alignment with departmental goals and to gain buy-in and support for initiatives.

5. Comprehensive Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Ensure that all projects are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and deliver expected business value.

6. Proactive Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.

7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and best practices. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Reporting and Visibility: Provide regular updates and reports to the VP, Ops on roadmap progress, PMO development, and any escalations or air-cover situations that require their support. Ensure transparency and visibility into project status, risks, and issues.

9. Escalation Management: Effectively manage escalations by identifying and addressing obstacles promptly. Seek support from the VP, Ops or other senior stakeholders when necessary to resolve complex issues and keep projects on track.

10. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO by regularly reviewing and enhancing project management processes, tools, and templates. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization’s project management approach.

11. Team Leadership and Mentoring: As the initial PMO hire, provide leadership and mentoring to future project management team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment that drives project success.

12. Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all projects align with the organization’s strategic objectives and contribute to the overall success of the Business Operations group.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
