We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to own and accelerate customer acquisition for one or more of our businesses. This is a senior individual contributor role for a marketer who can connect business goals to a clear growth strategy, translate that strategy into an integrated marketing plan, and work across channel, product marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver measurable results.

This person will serve as the growth owner for their business, with accountability for understanding funnel performance, identifying the biggest opportunities and constraints, and ensuring our marketing investments work together as a cohesive acquisition engine.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing funnel performance, developing a campaign strategy, challenging an underperforming channel, partnering with Sales on pipeline needs, and bringing together specialists across paid media, lifecycle marketing, content, SEO, product marketing, creative, and operations to execute against a shared growth plan.

This is not a role focused on producing a high volume of disconnected campaigns. We’re looking for someone who thinks in systems, customer journeys, and business outcomes — and knows how to turn those insights into action.

Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Business Performance

  • Own the growth marketing strategy and customer acquisition plan for your assigned business.
  • Translate revenue and new-customer goals into funnel targets, channel strategies, campaigns, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, market, ICP, customer buying journey, competitive landscape, and sales motion.
  • Regularly assess the health of the acquisition engine and identify the highest-impact opportunities, gaps, and risks.
  • Build quarterly and annual growth plans grounded in historical performance, market dynamics, channel capacity, and business priorities.
  • Maintain a clear point of view on what is working, what isn’t, why, and what should change.

Funnel & Performance Management

  • Own marketing performance across the acquisition funnel, including lead generation, MQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion, customer acquisition, and marketing efficiency.
  • Analyze funnel and channel performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, quality issues, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, and Sales to improve attribution, lead quality, scoring, routing, reporting, and funnel visibility.
  • Establish forecasts and performance expectations and proactively communicate risks or gaps to stakeholders.
  • Move quickly when performance falls behind plan, developing clear remediation strategies rather than waiting for monthly or quarterly results.

Integrated Campaign Strategy

  • Develop integrated campaigns that connect audience, message, content, channels, conversion experiences, nurture, and Sales activation into a cohesive buying journey.
  • Define the role each channel and asset plays within the broader campaign rather than treating individual tactics as standalone programs.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate customer insights, positioning, and product value into compelling acquisition strategies.
  • Build campaigns that intentionally move prospects from awareness and education through evaluation and Sales engagement.
  • Continuously test new audiences, messages, offers, channels, and conversion experiences to identify scalable growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for business and Sales leadership.
  • Orchestrate specialists across Paid Media, Marketing Automation, Content, SEO/AEO, Creative, Product Marketing, Events, Partnerships, ABM, and Marketing Operations.
  • Create clear briefs and strategic direction so functional teams understand the business problem, audience, desired outcome, and role their work plays within the broader strategy.
  • Partner with Sales on pipeline needs, lead quality, account strategy, prospect engagement, and campaign activation.
  • Build strong relationships across Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Operations to remove blockers and accelerate growth.
  • Influence priorities and drive accountability across teams even when you do not directly manage the people executing the work.

Experimentation & Growth Engine Development

  • Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities beyond existing acquisition channels.
  • Develop structured hypotheses and tests across channels, audiences, offers, messaging, landing experiences, lifecycle programs, partnerships, and emerging platforms.
  • Evaluate experiments based on both near-term performance and their potential to become scalable parts of the acquisition engine.
  • Balance optimization of proven channels with thoughtful investment in new growth opportunities.
  • Document learnings and use them to continuously improve future strategy and execution.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, integrated marketing, or a related B2B marketing discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience owning customer acquisition, pipeline, or revenue-related marketing goals.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B funnel and how marketing channels work together across the customer journey.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear insights and actions.
  • Experience working with paid media, lifecycle/email marketing, content, SEO, conversion optimization, events, partnerships, and/or account-based marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM, attribution, and funnel reporting.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Revenue Operations.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution to move work forward.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  •    Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate strategy, performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • A bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing SaaS or technology products to SMB or mid-market customers.
  • Experience working within a portfolio or multi-brand organization.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience building or diversifying an acquisition engine beyond paid search and traditional demand generation.
  • Familiarity with ABM, product-led growth, partnerships, referral programs, AEO/GEO, and emerging acquisition channels.
  • Experience working in home services, field services, construction, remodeling, or adjacent industries.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
