Product Designer — EverHealth Portfolio

Mission

Help product teams across EverHealth solve real customer problems and ship experiences that are simple, useful, and effective — not just attractive screens.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with Product Managers, Insights analysts and Engineers as part of a cross-functional product team.
  • Participate in discovery to understand customer problems through research, data, workflow observation, and feedback.
  • Help define the problem before jumping to the solution.
  • Explore multiple solution paths through flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Validate ideas early with customers, users, and internal experts before teams commit to building.
  • Collaborate closely through implementation to make sure the shipped experience matches the intent.
  • Use customer feedback and product metrics to improve experiences after launch.
  • Contribute to and maintain the EverHealth design system so teams move faster with more consistency.
  • Use AI to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, content exploration, and design workflows — while applying human judgment, customer evidence, and craft standards.

What you own

  • The clarity and usability of the experiences you design.
  • The quality of the design artifacts teams use to build: flows, prototypes, specs, interaction details, and edge cases.
  • The customer evidence behind your recommendations.
  • The fit between user needs, business outcomes, and technical constraints.
  • The consistency of patterns across the portfolio where shared standards make the experience better.

How you’ll be measured

  • Teams have a clearer understanding of the customer problem before they build.
  • Designs reduce friction, confusion, clicks, workarounds, and support burden.
  • Product experiences are easier to use, easier to learn, and easier to trust.
  • Engineers have the detail and context they need to build with quality.
  • The design system becomes more useful, more adopted, and more complete over time.
  • Customers and users feel the difference in the shipped product.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience designing digital products from discovery through delivery.
  • A strong portfolio that shows problem solving, not just polished UI.
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive product experiences.
  • Strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, feedback, iteration, and tradeoffs.
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
  • Practical experience using AI to move faster, without outsourcing judgment, research, or taste.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Are curious and customer-obsessed.
  • Ask “why” before designing “what.”
  • Prefer evidence over opinion.
  • Enjoy working directly with PMs and Engineers.
  • Challenge assumptions without creating drama.
  • Take ownership of the outcome, not just the mockup.
  • Care about craft, but care even more about whether the product works for the customer.

What great looks like

Product teams make better decisions because of your work. Customers experience less friction because of your work. Engineers build with more clarity because of your work. The goal is to help teams ship better products that have a positive impact on the lives on our users.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
