EverHealth is seeking a strategic and operationally excellent Head of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead and scale our RCM business. This senior leader will own the vision, performance, and evolution of our end-to-end revenue cycle operations across multiple service lines. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional client outcomes, driving internal operational efficiency, and enabling growth through innovation, technology, and data-driven process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the strategic direction for the RCM function aligned with EverHealth’s business goals and customer value proposition.
  • Drive operational excellence across billing, coding, claims submission, denial management, A/R follow-up, and collections.
  • Lead process improvement and change management initiatives across internal teams and BPO partners, leveraging best practices and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Own performance management, including KPI development, benchmarking, and executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific requirements.
  • Build scalable infrastructure — people, processes, platforms — to support current operations and future growth.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, including offshore and outsourced resources, to ensure accountability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, CX, Product, and Engineering to enhance client outcomes and inform platform strategy.
  • Champion automation and AI adoption to increase productivity, reduce cost, and improve accuracy.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team, with a focus on talent development, engagement, and accountability.
  • Represent EverHealth’s RCM capabilities externally to clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in RCM, healthcare operations, or revenue-related functions.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing multi-site or global teams, including offshore vendors.
  • Proven track record leading complex RCM functions in healthcare technology, services, or SaaS environments.
  • Deep knowledge of reimbursement models (FFS, VBC, capitation), compliance requirements, and payer landscapes.
  • Expertise in RCM platforms, EMRs/EHRs, revenue integrity, and analytics tools.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience influencing at the executive and board level.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) strongly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CRCE, CHFP, or PMP a plus.

Where: US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $170K to $200K USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
