We are looking for a Manager, HR Generalists to support our Managers and Employees. Reporting to the SVP, People Strategy and Operations, this role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and support a team of HR Generalists. In addition, this role will play a key role in overseeing daily HR issues, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices.

This is a fixed-term contract position for a duration of one (1) year (March 2025 to March 2026)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 HR Generalists.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP Team to implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Interpret, apply, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee relations issues. Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner that is within established company guidelines.
  • Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals and conducting evaluations. Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  • Manage the exit process for departing employees (e.g. prepare separation agreements and manage offboarding procedures).
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to contribute to organizational goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 3+ years of HR managerial experience demonstrating thoughtful leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • 7+ years of HR experience demonstrating strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws, as well as proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HR software and systems. (Preferred: Workday).
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).

Where:  Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:  

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 USD Per Year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions
