Hurry up! We’ve got a dream to build!

At BlueConic, we’re reinventing how businesses grow by transforming customer data into real-time intelligence and action. As the creators of the industry's first Customer Growth Engine (CGE), we help brands move beyond traditional CDPs to a smarter, faster model for growth—powered by AI, built for privacy, and designed to create meaningful value across the customer lifecycle.

Join us in shaping the future of customer engagement—where businesses don’t just collect data, but turn it into their next competitive advantage.

We’re seeking an ambitious, detail-obsessed Events Manager to design and deliver strategic event programs that generate pipeline, deepen customer relationships, and elevate the BlueConic brand in the market. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you will own both the strategy and execution of our event portfolio, including industry trade shows, BlueConic-led experiences, regional executive events, virtual roundtables, and webinars. You will partner closely with Sales to ensure every event is designed to reach our ICP, enable meaningful 1:1 conversations, and drive measurable ROI. You’ll combine creative vision with operational excellence, ensuring that every detail is flawlessly executed while keeping the big-picture business objectives front and center.

In this role you will:

Event Strategy and Planning

  • Own the annual and quarterly event strategy, aligned to company growth priorities and sales objectives.
  • Select, scope, and prioritize events using ROI-based criteria to ensure optimal budget allocation and maximum impact.
  • Create a forward-looking event roadmap that balances industry presence, thought leadership, and customer engagement.

Execution and Logistics

  • Lead all aspects of event execution from concept to completion, including contracts, vendor management, staffing, and on-site operations.
  • Oversee booth design, content, collateral, and digital promotion to ensure brand consistency and audience resonance.
  • Manage event budgets with precision, ensuring spend is aligned to ROI expectations.

Sales and Marketing Alignment

  • Partner with Sales to drive pre-event outreach, in-event engagement, and post-event follow-up that accelerates pipeline.
  • Ensure alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and content strategy to maximize impact.
  • Facilitate executive and high-value 1:1 meetings with pre-qualified prospects and customers.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Define and track event KPIs, including sourced and influenced pipeline, attendee engagement, and cost per lead.
  • Deliver post-event reporting with actionable recommendations to continuously improve results.

You have:

  • 4–6 years of B2B event management or field marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, retail tech, or CPG-focused industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic event programs that generate measurable pipeline and elevate brand presence.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Creativity and curiosity, paired with a data-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for event sponsorships

Why You’ll Thrive at BlueConic

  • We’re not just hosting events. We’re building experiences that bring our Customer Growth Engine™ to life for top brands in retail and CPG.
  • You’ll be part of a high-growth, collaborative environment where your impact on pipeline, customer relationships, and brand perception will be both visible and celebrated.
  • You’ll have the autonomy to innovate, the support to execute, and the opportunity to grow with a company on a bold trajectory.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
