If you're a goal-oriented sales professional with a passion for digital media, advertising innovation, and local storytelling, we want to hear from you!

  • Align client audience segments with Skyline Studio’s full suite of advertising solutions—including branded content, influencer marketing, display advertising, SEO/SEM, video, social media, and print

  • Build and present strategic, research-based proposals tailored to client goals

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design integrated media solutions that drive measurable ROI

  • Maintain strong post-sale relationships to ensure retention, campaign success, and upsell opportunities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on current trends in digital advertising, media strategy, and marketing best practices

  • Track and analyze performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals

  • Represent Skyline Studio and its media brands at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous learning initiatives

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in digital and/or print advertising sales, ideally within local markets in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, or Riverside

  • Existing relationships with local advertisers and agencies (highly preferred)

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), along with Google Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Strong grasp of sales fundamentals—cold-calling, networking, pipeline management, and closing deals

  • Self-starter mentality with excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities

  • Experience negotiating and managing multi-variable contracts

  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit with a positive, team-first attitude

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-person meetings and events

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly range is $21.64 - $24.04. This position is eligible for incentive compensation (commission), cell phone, and mileage reimbursement. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
