- Supporting integrated communications and experiential teams across day-to-day client work
- Assisting with research, audience/cultural insights, and competitive monitoring to inform strategy and creative development
- Helping build presentations, recaps, and internal/client-ready materials (e.g., decks, timelines, status trackers, event briefs)
- Supporting planning and execution for events, partnerships, and activations, including logistics coordination and on-site support where applicable
- Drafting and editing copy for communications materials (e.g., summaries, talking points, social captions, run-of-show notes, attendee comms)
- Monitoring news, pop culture, and industry trends and sharing relevant takeaways with the team
- Coordinating with cross-functional partners (creative, strategy, production, social/digital, talent/creator, and project management)
- Assisting with vendor research, compiling options, and maintaining organized project documentation
- Participating in brainstorms and collaborating on ideas that align with client objectives and culture moments
- Interns must be rising seniors or recent graduates
- A passion for communications, culture, and creating experiences that connect brands to people in meaningful ways
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new assignments, shifting timelines, and evolving priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people across teams and projects
- Strong research skills and an ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable takeaways
- Basic understanding of social and digital platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube) and how audiences engage with content
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (PowerPoint/Slides and Excel/Sheets are especially helpful)
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn through feedback and mentorship
- Interest in experiential marketing, sponsorships/partnerships, sports/entertainment, and/or brand storytelling (through coursework, internships, campus orgs, or personal projects)
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support research, content drafting, and trend monitoring
- Any experience supporting events, productions, campus programming, or client-facing projects
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where details and deadlines matter
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
