Job Description

We are seeking a strategic thinker and consultant with experience in ERP-related advisory work to lead engagements across enterprise transformation, technology strategy, and organizational readiness. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the ERP space but is looking to apply their skills in a broader strategic context, helping clients navigate complex decisions, align technology with mission, and drive meaningful change. This is not an implementation role, it’s about shaping the vision and guiding the journey. As such, your ERP experience is valued, but your broader strategic thinking is what drives success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Engagements: Deliver high-impact strategy projects across enterprise transformation, IT modernization, and organizational design.
  • Guide ERP Readiness and Advisory: Conduct assessments, develop roadmaps, and advise clients on ERP-related decisions within broader transformation efforts.
  • Shape Client Strategy: Collaborate with executives to define vision, evaluate options, and align technology investments with mission outcomes.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Alignment: Lead workshops, interviews, and executive briefings to surface priorities and build consensus.
  • Collaborate Across Practices: Partner with delivery teams in ERP implementation, modernization, and analytics to ensure strategic coherence.
  • Contribute to Practice Growth: Support methodology development, thought leadership, and internal capability building.

Required Skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, with exposure to ERP-related projects (e.g., readiness, selection, transformation).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Knowledge of and strategic experience with Workday or Oracle and demonstrated projects in at least one functional area (finance, HCM, etc.).
  • Experience working with mission-driven organizations (higher ed, nonprofit, public sector) preferred.
  • Ability to lead client engagements independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Prosci, ERP-specific) a plus.

Additional Information

  • Competitive health, dental, and vision coverage, HSA and FSA accounts, life and disability insurance, fertility and family planning benefits, and employee assistance and discount programs
  • 11 paid federal holidays and flexible unlimited time off (UTO)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
