This is a contracted position for 12+ months. Pay $65-$75 per hour.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Epic Cadence / Prelude Analysts at the Senior level to support a growing healthcare organization. This role will focus on system build, optimization, and ongoing support of scheduling and registration workflows, with strong integration across revenue cycle functions. Ideal candidates bring deep application knowledge, the ability to work independently, and—at the lead level—the capability to guide and mentor other analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and support Epic Cadence and Prelude applications
- Configure and maintain Decision Trees to support scheduling and registration workflows
- Support integration points across Hospital Billing (HB) and Claims workflows
- Collaborate with operational, clinical, and IT stakeholders to align system functionality with business needs
- Support and optimize workflows within Community Connect environments
- Analyze current workflows and recommend system improvements and enhancements
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and release cycles
- Participate in testing efforts, including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and build specifications
- (Lead-level) Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and assist with prioritization of work efforts
- Ensure adherence to Epic standards and organizational best practices
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Epic experience with Cadence and/or Prelude
- Hands-on experience with Decision Trees configuration required
- Experience supporting or working with HB and Claims workflows strongly preferred
- Experience in Community Connect environments preferred
- Active Epic certification(s) in Cadence and/or Prelude preferred
- Strong understanding of scheduling, registration, and front-end revenue cycle workflows
- Experience with system build, optimization, and support
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Leadership or mentorship experience preferred for Lead-level candidates
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
