We seek an enthusiastic and driven Sales Associate to join our events team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for team work, excellent communication skills, and a knack for  building relationships. The Sales Associate will represent our clients' organizations by interacting directly with potential donors and supporters. This role requires high levels of energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop connections with people to build support for our clients' charitable events and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage Potential Supporters: Approach and engage with the public in various settings, including events, venues, and high-traffic locations, to introduce them to the charity’s mission and programs.
  • Maintain Knowledge: Stay updated on the charity’s goals, initiatives, and events, and be able to answer any questions from potential supporters confidently and accurately.
  • Create Positive Impressions: Represent the charity professionally, always ensuring a positive and trustworthy impression of the organization.
  • Prospect, generate, and close new business opportunities for charity events.
  • Manage client accounts and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist in identifying potential partners, sponsors, and vendors for charity events.
  • Maintain and track sales metrics and targets.
  • Coordinate event logistics, securing venues, and ensuring all event needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the event coordination team to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Participate in industry events, network with potential clients, and stay informed on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail or other, or customer service, preferably in the nonprofit or charity sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and network effectively with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for working with charitable causes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for engaging with people and building relationships.
  • Results-driven with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
