We are seeking an enthusiastic Promotional Marketing Assistant to join our team in the Pleasanton area. In this entry-level role, you’ll leverage your upbeat personality and natural ability to engage an audience, helping create excitement and raise awareness for our charity partners. As a Promotional Marketing Assistant, you’ll also support the team by assisting with various administrative, advertising, marketing, and sales tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, set up, and execute promotional marketing events designed to raise awareness and increase donations for our charity partners.

  • Set up promotional displays and manage visual merchandising at each event to ensure an engaging experience.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional materials to enhance event impact.

  • Participate in basic fundraising activities to support the charity initiatives.

  • Maintain relationships with business partners, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and event success.

Requirements:

  • College degree in sales, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred, OR

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales promotion, marketing, advertising, or a similar field is an asset. Internship experience and previous entry-level roles will also be considered.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, consumers, and stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on achieving goals.

  • Ability to work some nights and weekends for events and promotions.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules and event timelines.

  • Enthusiastic about customer service, ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and consumers.

  • A positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
