Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and driven individuals wanting to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment. This is primarily a training position that helps you develop the skills needed for becoming a professional machinist.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform simple machining tasks while progressing to more advance level machining
- Use precise measuring tools to ensure exact specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining tools and equipment
- Ability to work overtime when required, including weekends
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Moderate math skills, including geometry
- Accurately perform mathematical calculations
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read blueprints
- Manual dexterity required
Experience/Education:
- High School diploma or GED
- Background in a manufacturing environment a plus, but not required
