We are hiring for an entry-level full stack software engineer with an AI focus. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science with an AI/ML focus. You’ll join a team of experienced software engineers building AI-powered features, contributing your understanding of core AI/ML concepts while learning about the practical challenges of integrating new technology into existing code bases.
You won’t be training foundation models from scratch—but you will help us evaluate, integrate, fine-tune, and apply them effectively. You’ll help us think critically and creatively about how to use AI as a lever—not just a trend. And you’ll collaborate with us in surfacing this technology as a platform & toolset for other engineers to understand and leverage. We are moving towards a future where every software engineer sees AI & LLM capabilities as part of their core toolset.
What You'll Do- Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to design, build, and refine AI-powered features using LLMs and related technologies.
- Apply your academic understanding of ML concepts (transformers, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning, etc.) to help guide architecture and feature decisions.
- Run experiments and evaluations on LLM prompts, model configurations, and data quality.
- Stay on top of the latest developments in applied AI/ML, and help translate research into actionable ideas.
- Prototype and test new AI features using tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.
- Bring a thoughtful, ethical perspective to AI use—highlighting limitations, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with product managers and design leads to identify high-impact AI opportunities in the compliance space.
- Design and code engaging user experiences using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Redux
- Design and code backend architecture components including REST APIs, queueing, storage systems, RBAC, encryption, and security
- Create technical standards, documentation, and developer upskill & enablement materials to support AI adoption across teams.
- Write automated tests and build monitoring and system health metrics
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong academic foundation in machine learning, natural language processing, or applied AI.
- Hands-on experience (internships, personal projects, or research labs) applying ML/AI tools to real-world data or problems.
- Familiarity with modern AI toolkits and platforms, vector databases, prompt engineering, fine-tuning pre-trained models, etc.
- Strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity—you enjoy learning and explaining what you’ve learned.
- Strong collaboration skills - you’re a great team member, working constructively with others
- Self-starter attitude—you’re comfortable working independently and jumping into ambiguous problems.
- 30-minute initial chat with our Talent Aquisition Specialist
- Four 60-minute 1:1 interviews with our engineering team members
- Opportunity to ask questions and ensure the role is the right fit
