Our interns partner with teams across EchoStar working to drive our latest game-changing innovation. Our internship is a 10 week, in-person experience that is paid hourly with eligible overtime. Interns are given a business project(s) to complete over the summer and present their results to leadership and their peers. EchoStar provides each intern with a manager to support them with the execution of their project.
All opportunities are located in Denver, CO unless otherwise stated.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Entrepreneurial Generalist Intern to support the Office of Innovation team in challenging the status quo and reimagining capabilities across industries, working as an extension of our Corporate and Business Development initiatives we collaborate with all of the EchoStar companies (Boost Mobile, GenMo, DISH, Sling, OnTech, and Hughes) on partnership opportunities that increase revenue, decrease costs and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• As an Entrepreneurial Generalist, you'll support the Office of Innovation team on various initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate, Innovate and Contribute creative solutions and improvements to exciting projects while working with multiple teams across the EchoStar companies.
• Support ongoing POC's (Proof of Concept) working with Network/RF, Technical, Operations and Legal Teams
• Communicating status and progress of deliverables, and sharing learnings/ innovations with the team and stakeholders

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• GPA 3.3 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of an elementary understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
• Curiosity and passion in emerging technological innovation within telecom, space, and media that extends beyond the classroom and workplace
• Effective oral communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude
• Familiarity with DeFi, DeWi, DePIN, Web3 and blockchain concepts
• Preferred, but not required to possess a knowledge of vibe coding and AI Development tools including but not limited to:

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $18.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour
