Job Description SummaryThe Enterprise Ultrasound Education Leader is responsible for leading and advancing a customer-focused ultrasound education program that supports business objectives, enhances customer satisfaction, and drives clinical excellence. This role develops and delivers innovative educational solutions, manages curriculum and content strategy, and ensures the effectiveness of learning programs through continuous evaluation and improvement.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the Education Leader serves as a subject matter expert in clinical ultrasound education, integrating evolving clinical practices, emerging technologies, and adult learning methodologies into educational offerings. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking to drive organizational goals, support product adoption, optimize learning outcomes, and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and continuing education requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in clinical ultrasound, instructional design, program management, and team development while fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a customer-focused clinical education program that delivers exceptional learning experiences and measurable outcomes.

  • Design, develop, deliver, and continuously improve educational curricula, course content, and learning materials.

  • Create innovative, engaging, and interactive educational experiences utilizing modern adult learning principles and instructional design practices and software.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional growth while fostering a culture of learning, development, and innovation.

  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the education organization.

  • Partner with leadership and education team members to develop and implement innovative teaching tools, delivery methods, and best practices.

  • Support the execution of education team objectives, ensuring organizational goals, brand standards, compliance guidelines, performance metrics, and strategic priorities are achieved.

  • Stay current on trends in healthcare education, instructional technologies, and learning delivery models to enhance effectiveness and operational efficiency.

  • Align educational initiatives with Ultrasound business strategies and organizational vision.

  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve productivity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize educational programs and customer-facing materials to ensure relevance, compliance, effectiveness, and learner engagement.

  • Support the introduction of new products, features, technologies, and optimization strategies through the development and delivery of targeted educational offerings.

  • Participate in the review and administration of healthcare professional (HCP) agreements related to speaker programs, educational grants, symposium sponsorships, and on-site education activities.

  • Assess emerging clinical ultrasound trends and incorporate evidence-based practices into educational programs to meet evolving customer needs.

  • Support the administration and delivery of continuing education (CE) programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain advanced clinical, technical, and product expertise to coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Provide clinical expertise and educational support for sales training, new product introductions, customer workshops, trade shows, and other strategic business initiatives.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with field applications, commercial, technical support, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of educational strategies.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience related to clinical training and education, curriculum development, or other related disciplines

  • Proficient in General Imaging Ultrasound and at least one other specialty segment pertaining to imaging, protocols, and technologies

  • Experience with advanced imaging technology, acquisition and manipulation

  • Active ARDMS registry

  • Demonstrate mastery in creation of educational content curricula

  • Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient program management

  • Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong PC skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Willing to travel 75% for business needs

  • Willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

  • Willing to take a drug test

  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States

 

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in associated field

  • Multi-specialty clinical ultrasound experience

  • Knowledge of Healthcare emerging markets and clinical needs in those markets

  • Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, other sales segments, and GE HealthCare functions

  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization

  • Solid problem-solving skills, analytical and creative approach in developing solution

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take initiative to identify opportunities for and take actions to improve

  • Strong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to blend complex issues into simple messages

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time

  • Proven professional business acumen and relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, coach, develop and motivate talent

  • Previous experience managing business initiatives, priorities, and financials

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $122,400.00-$183,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
